More about EWE International and what we do

EWE International was incorporated in the Netherlands in 2004 in order to meet the growing demand for translations from Slovak and for market research in this country. We have been physically located in Slovakia since 2006.

Operational management of the company is in Dutch – Slovakian hands. We are not impeded by language barriers or cultural differences. The different backgrounds make this mixture a success for all parties involved.

Together with our local contacts and extensive network, we can assist you with your operations in Slovakia. This enables you to continue to conduct your operational management from the Netherlands, without having to worry.

We mainly work for SMEs and production companies, but also for private individuals. Delivering quality with personal attention and service is deemed of paramount importance therein.

In this country, examples of different instructions and projects that we completed for a variety of clients, include:

  • translating contracts, product information, brochures, offers, etc.
  • interpreting at meetings and conferences
  • organising production in Slovakia
  • screening suppliers
  • setting up distribution and sales channels
  • maintaining contacts with buyers, sales outlets and suppliers

We are located in Piešťany, 80 kilometres northeast of Bratislava (the capital). Piešťany is a lively tourist town embedded in green and hilly surroundings. It enjoys a global reputation for the medicinal properties of its spring water and river mud. The town is situated along the main west to east connections in the country (rail and motorway).

Our History

  • 2004 →

    We were incorporated in the Netherlands under the name of EWE Intermediairs. Our first assignment was a translation from Flemish into Slovak.

  • 2006 →

    Relocation of home and office to Slovakia, thereby enabling us to act as a detached post for our Dutch relations.

  • 2012 →

    Relocation to a new office, a haven of peace from where we provide translation and business services to our clients.

  • 2013 →

    Change of our company name to EWE International. This at the same represents a great opportunity to launch a new website.
