Description of project
Two Dutch companies constructed a prestigious trotting and horse race track south of Bratislava. This Hippo Arena forms part of a yet to be realised complex which will include swimming pools and sports fields, in addition to race horsing facilities.
The Hippo Arena comprises a galloping track, 3 grass courses, 2 sand courses, an outdoor arena and 2 indoor arenas.
The total project measures 30 ha. The horse racing section measures 16 ha. This is a unique facility in Europe, offering both sand and grass pitches. The owner of “Horse Park” want to match the quality offered at Aachen and organise multiple top events each year.
EWE International was involved in providing interpreting services during meetings, the translation of the construction log, invitation and comparison of tenders, permit applications with local and national authorities, setting up correct accounts and administration, advising with regard to tax returns etc.
